Pace RC35s rubbers

Hi All

Im in the middle of renovating my old kona cruiser, which has been fitted with pace RC35s.

When I took the forks apart, the rubbers disintegrated, leaving me with an unusable pile of rubbery mush, and a set of unsuable forks.

I seem to recall reading on here that someone might have an old stock of these rubbers stashed away soemwhere, can anyone advise how to go about getting a hold of some?

They are beautiful forks, it would be great to get them back up and running

hope someone can help

Speak to justbackdated, He is an ex pace man who now services all the retro end of the pace range.

Failing that I have some spares, but im not sure where at the moment.

Have done this twice in recent memory. First time in 2004ish I exchanged emails with Pace then paid by credit card over the phone. Replacement elastomers were (as Messiah said) very soft (or I'm very fat...)

Ordered some spares for a friend a couple of weeks back, this time all done over the phone. Firm elastomers were out of stock so went with medium. Haven't fitted them yet.

Price is indeed £29.95 a set.

thanks for the advice folks, at 30 bucks itll have to wait till payday, but great news that theyre still available

Defo still available, but when i got mine from Pace they only had hard ones. I sent the forks off to Tim (justbackdated) at fork english, and he fitted my hard elostomers and filled in the blanks with some of his own softer ones. Quality job at a fair price. I recomend sending it to him if you don't fancy the job yourself.
