Original Marin Bear Valley

When Marin started in 1985, they hired my wife's ex-husband to do the photo shoot for their advertising campaign, catalog, etc. in anticipation of delivering product in 1986. After the shoot, they gave him two of the bikes used in the shoot and my wife got the Bear Valley. We still have the bike, pretty much in original condition. She rode the bike on the White Rim Trail (120 miles in Canyonlands, Utah) in September of 1986 - probably the first Marin to make the trip.

I wrote to Marin, but didn't get a response.

I'm interested in feedback on whether this vintage bike has any value beyond just being an old MTB.

An original run Marin would be very interesting to some mate. I bet not many were made back then and it's a part of MTB history. Would love to see some pictures.
