My God trying to restore the Forks, been scraping out old broken pits of Elastomer all afternoon, Thank God ive found a bloke in the US of A with a lovely new set of replacment springs, Also thinking of getting a set of Pace RC 35's what do you guys think?

Check the year, but I think RC36's were the top spec option on these. There is a catalogue for 1997 I think on here, not sure if it is the right year for you though.

I had a slime green X1 when I worked at John Atkins with a 1998 Pace RC36. Still got the fork, but got rid of the frame to a mate years ago
