I'd relist  if I'd remembered  I would have bid £100 ish which I suspect is knowhere near your reserve but bidder 3 might have been willing to go higher.

And with a ebay relist fee, sale FVF and Paypal charges, that's going to be equivilant to around £125 in an ebay sale.

Sean, do you have any pics of your 1995 diamond back sorrento? i used to have one BITD

I have F7 forks to go with this - £16 posted but you would need to respray them to match. Short (125mm) 1 inch threaded steerer. Quite light.

I was considering a punt but I've just bought a road frame and forks so I'm out of the purchase game for a while.

I think lack of forks would have impacted quite significantly on the price. After all, where would find/how much would one have to pay for a replacement?
And TBH what the paint cost is not really relevant.
Nice frame but lots SIMILAR out there for not much money.

Sadly true, you are never likely to get your money back on a decent paint job. Just spent £120 ish on my Roberts, it looks awesome now, but it wont of added any where like that to the value of the frame.

I know that last year Orange still had some stock of old forks that they were selling for about £30. Might have gone now though.

Orange ones all sold, I asked a mate who works there. I do have some 19" frame prestige forks now I may let slide, so more options for your punters 8)

Another suggestion would to be to maybe mail the high bidder and see if you can nail the deal? It's a bit underhand but at least them you can avoid Ebay/Paypal taking a chunk of what you'll make on it :wink

could be difficult trying to convince the highest bidder that its worth 3 times his highest bid 8) i dont think i have the nerve to try it either :D
