Orange p7

Hi , there have a orange p7 rc 1996 with I think pace rc30 forks can get hold of original f7 forks what should I be paying , new to retrobike ,first post would welcome some help , thanks

little confused if your buying a fork or selling a bike. Assuming its a nickel plated frame then its very much down to condition. They unfortunately chip and rust and somehow managed to look worse than frames which where just painted.

scrape value to a minter with perfect minty build could be as high as £300. Bad ones are easy to get hold off, which does set the minter frames apart.

Unless its factory original build spec breaking will usually net more than a complete bike.

Hi there sorry didn't make it clear it's a p7 rs nickel in very good condition with no rust with more or less original spec it's got lx components pace chain ring it's also got middleburn crank arms which I don't think are original the forks are pace rc 30 which I don't think are original , don't want to sell bike but can get some f7 forks to put on it just wondered what sort of price to pay for them I am quite new to this , thanks for answering ,regards wreef57

I would split it tbh. Cranks and forks would interest people. Frame with F7 £60-100 perhaps depending on actual condition. You might add a little more to inc the bits. I have just paid £90 delivers for a clockwork frame and forks but the paint looked reasonable but I also knew 21” complete frame and forks are harder to come buy so didn’t particularly barter. The chap I bought it off I believe collect it for £100 with mix match ok bits . So he’s probably done alright out of breaking it as an example. Post up some pics of the frame and others might give you a better opinion. As aid I have never seen a nickel which didn’t have pin prick rust all over it from the nickel failing .

No... gives you an idea of value though. Forks to fit a 21" frame will be harder to come by.
