Orange P7 size… HELP!!

Hi all.

Just registered and very new to (read “totally ignorant”) 90s mountain bike sizing - so pls bear with. Have seen a lovely P7 I’m keen to bid on (pics below). The frame size is described as: “Seat tube - 19in (17.5 c-c), Top tube 56cm (c-c). I’m 5’7” with a 30” leg. Idea is to have a short stem, put riser bars on and a flat rack on the front. Basically a commute / pub / muck about / ride slowly bike; so no too keen on being stretched out on it. Any help / guidance / advice on Orange sizing and geometry, or if you think this would/wouldn’t fit, is hugely appreciated!

Thanks all

I'm 5'6" 30" inside leg and I wouldn't go over a 17" on an orange, so I would say that a 19" is too big for you.

Thanks for the info mate. Just out of interest is this specific to Orange bikes or you think generally applies to 90s mountain bike geometry?

I think I was always 17" or less on retro bikes. My last modern (2017) Orange was a 17" too.

I'm 5.11 with 30" inside leg & ride Orange 19" of this generation. I had a 17" for a while - bit too small.

Geometry details for different sizes of same vintage as in your post:

I ride a mix of 17 & 19" for post 2007 Orange hardtails. 17" off-road due to the stand-over & a 19" for commuting
