Retro Newbie
Hi all,

Decided to offer this up as I have no money to invest in he project. I came across the bike whilst working in the local bike shop, a chap was wanting rid of it so I took it off his hands with the intention of restoring it to its former glory. Unfortunately I no longer work at the shop so my access to cheap bits is no more!
It's a polished frame with an inch headset, if that dates it for anyone...
Frame has rust dots on but I'm sure they could be removed easily and also a scuff/ flat spot on the right seat stay but doesn't look structural.
Forks are Rockshox Jett XC's.
The original parts are as follows: bars, stem, front brake lever, cranks M563 but middle ring has tooth missing, front mech XT, shifters, seatpost (seized), rear brake assembly, 8 speed cassette, front wheel (true but could do with a hub service, rear wheel (buckled but truable and could do with a hub service. Not sure if headset is original but feels ok.It has a Selle Italia saddle but not sure if that's original..
It needs rear mech and has a purple rear brake lever that looks horrid.
Would be really good to see it go to a new home and get put back on the mountains as I really don't have the space to keep it (I have waaaay to many bikes in my girlfriends opinion, although I think 9 is ok......)
Make me an offer guys!
Cheers

Re:

Please take a moment to read the forum rules here: --> http://www.retrobike.co.uk/wiki/Classif ... _Procedure

If you are selling on the forum then you need to come up with an asking price and post up a thread in the relevant section of the forum. You can't ask for offers. A good description and some pictures help enormously here.

Alternatively you can advertise on ebay and post up a link in this section.

Thanks
