alexransome Dirt Disciple Jun 12, 2009 #1 Hi, Could some one help me out and let me know what the sizes are for the seatpost and headtube for an Orange P7. Could, maybe, someone give an idea about the frame age. I'm considering a retro build. Thanks for your time. Attachments Picture 058.webp 21 KB · Views: 2,698

fingers Senior Retro Guru Feedback View Jun 13, 2009 #2 That will probably have a 1" heattube/headset seatpost - they were 29.6 shimmed to 26.4 for some of the nickel frames, pull the seatpost out and it will say on it. My 3 P7s are all 29.6 seattubes, I use use thermoplastic shims to take them to 27.2

Before '98 seems unknown on the orange website: http://www.orangebikes.co.uk/main/techfaqs.php#table My 95/96 model seems to take a 27.0. I did try 27.2 which is more normal and it was not happening.
