Orange P7 frame number mystery

Right so I’ve looked at multiple threads here and there isn’t a consistent answer, so hey why not ask again!

I have a P7 frame and was informed it’s a ‘97. It has the split in the seat tube at the rear, which I also understand to have changed around 96/97 time. Frame number on the BB is as follows

A41100305

None of this suggests to me it’s a 97! It’s also in the bright orange colourway if that makes any difference.

Any ideas?

That serial number would suggest made in Nov 94 for 95 season?

My 1997 frame number starts F703 & my 1998 A707. Both are forward facing slots.
