I quite fancy buying this but have a couple of niggles.

Firstly it says it is a 94 c16r but these didn't come out till 95.

Colour scheme in the 94 catologue fits in with it being a clockwork.

Secondly it says 17" frame but looks bigger to me. 17" would be great but 19" would be too big. What do you reckon?

Chris.

Hmmm, bit of an odd one this regardless, has been listed 3 times, the last time the BIN was £280, now it's crept back up to £350 :?

I doubt that the owner would part for any less than the £280, may be worth mailing him an offer?

Yeah I have seen it on here before watching the different Values .... First one was pretty wild from what I remember?

It is a size 17, but they feel very small, like another brand one size smaller, and the size 17 is very low at the front with its very short head tube and shortish forks.

I think the C16R came out towards the end of 1994 and you could apparently have them in optional colours, like this one. The photo below was said to be a 1994 C16R, although it's too fuzzy to make it out, and I think these are the standard colours (and 94 Clockworks were in the same colours).

I don't understand his selling strategy, but it is a superb little bike with full M900 XTR, so it does have a lot of intrinsic value. C16Rs with STX/equivalent tend to sell for c£150, which is fantastic vfm, but it's just a matter of how much extra is the M900 kit worth?

Congrats chris but the dick should not be ending auctions that people including me were bidding on
Bad form.

Dont jump down my throat but isnt £320 pretty steep for a C16R even with m900 stuff on it? :?

He told me he was going too revise the auction and lower the buy it now to £290 that way everyone would of had a fair crack at it.

Then he emailed to say he had relisted it. Sorry not my fault.

All things considered it did have a buy it now on it so could of ended at any time not that this helps you.

Think with the postage its a fair price. The M900 does all look in good nic too

Chris.
