There is a set of blackwallson Ebay, but they're wire bead I think..

Dan/Dave were DH tyres IIRC..? I can't seem to find them now anyways :roll:

I used to swear by these tyres especially on hardpack and sand. I did used to come unstuck though when using them on wet rock (slate) and tree roots. They became lethal. I opted for their older brother, porcs, for cross country and haven't really looked back.
Nothing better though if you're in sand. It became a party trick to ride across large areas of dry sand near where I grew up, when everybody else fell off!!
PS. You missed a set of NOS Dan and Dave last week on ebay. I still have a decent pair of amber wall for when the going is really tough.
