One or two Shimano 8/9-speed rear mechs - STX/Deore/XT etc

While I'm with relatives in the holidays I'm fixing up a couple of old family bikes running 8/9 speed Shimano drivetrains and I need a rear mech - something like STX/Deore/XT? Condition not important as long as it works and the jockey wheels are ok. It'll need to be a long cage, capable of clearing a 34t sprocket. For the second bike I might be able to get by with what I've got but I'd consider something similar if there's another going... (I could get by with a medium cage for that one)

Edit - one now sorted, possibly could use another to replace the nasty but working one on the second bike!
