Hi, am interested in the inbred, what sort of condition is she in put of ten, just sold a nigh on immaculate 29er SS because I couldn't get on with SS, loved the frame & position so am after a geared
Cheers C

It’s 26 just so you know, but yeh it’s a classic inbred known for being one of the best handling 26 hard tails in their day and still sought after - tbh I am surprised it hasn’t sold yet at the price we have it up for

I didn’t work on it personally was one of our other lads who went over it and worked on it so I don’t know it inside out other than what’s on the eBay add but from top of my head it’s in pretty good nick and looked after will certainly keep going for a long time

we’ve also got an one one 456 similar era that’s the same size frame that I am working on and nearly finished that’s very very similar to the inbred and rides super nice with 20mm axle rock shox recons on front and USE suspension post

Have a good ole browse of the eBay listing and pics for the Inbred

We are closed today and Mondays so if you can hang on till Tuesday I can get my eyes back on it and answer any more questions and take any other pics close ups etc if you need then

just drop me a reminder post/msg on Tuesday morn if your still interested and if I mention to the manager that someone on retrobike is interested we might be able to sort a retrobikers discount ; )

its not been deep cleaned as i ve not finished it yet also ignore pedals
frame has some scuffs but is sound otherwise so depends what your looking for cosmetic wise
i am just over 6'1 and been riding it with saddle where it is and it rides really really nice been half tempted myself
its an 18" same as the inbred
cassette and chain are worn though at mo they need replacing
but maybe if you are still interested could do a deal without pedals and with a view to yourself replacing cassette and chain which tbh if your using it for a future trail beater prob not a bad idea as we would prob fing a second hand donor cassette and chain thats in good condition
wouldnt normally show bikes weve not totally finished but this times not a prob but just bear that in mind that its not finished in that respect

also due to it not being best cosmetically and not as clean as the inbred its likely going to be cheaper than the inbred
aslo another ps the rear derailleur is an XT rapid rise so its sprung the other way and trigger shifts backwards but does shift nicely
