Hi Folks,

I am shocked that this old beaut of mine hasn't gone yet but maybe I was listing it too high to start with on eBay. I'm moving house and really only want to move as little stuff as possible. I'm commuting on a road bike now and this lovely old girl is just sat in the shed. It really needs someone to renovate and bring her back to life.

I've always found that putting a high starting price puts people off of bidding.
If you've got a minimum price in mind, why not list it as a buy it now at a price above that, but have it open to offers too?
That's worked for me in the past

Hi Makster, yep your right it's worth a go. I have revised my listing so I will see what happens. It's a steal to be honest but is just a waste of bike being sat in the shed all of the time

Those ballistic frames are absolute beauties to ride. Sadly, a crash in Tunisia put a crack in the down tube of mine - and it slowly got longer over the space of 18 months...

Oddly enough like you I now ride a Van Nicholas (mtb rather than road) - pretty close in looks and feel to the Ballistic.
