A massive underwater explosion north of Campbell River, BC happened in 1958. A twin peak underwater mountain named Ripple Rock tore through the hulls of over 110 ships sinking them while passing through the narrow channel off Vancouver Island. At low tide the peaks were 3 metres below the water line. It is one of the largest non nuclear, non wartime explosions ever. Just found this video and thought I'd share. Cheers
