Oh, why did I have to see this ?

You should have gone to Specsavers.
I take it all back mate! All I looked at was the modern Campag' stuff and those big shitty rims!

Then I spotted the frame and quill stem

For me I would have to fook off the rims & seat post and find something oldish but modernish
like a Campag' carbon seat-post & Mavic rims, what are the rims anyway on that machine

Special super shiny Campag Bora, or something like that. The bloody thing costs £8300.00 and is one of 60 specials in each material; steel, aluminium, titanium and plastic (tuppaware) to mark De Rosas' 60th. anniversary.

If I'm ever going to have a modern bike, then this is it. I bet it rides like a dream.

You'd be scared of getting dust on the rims mate! If you did have one,
I bet you would ride just a few times then hang it up for a future investment

I've got my 50th. coming up in a couple of years, so I've booked a time with the De Rosa man tomorrow.

I keep looking at the 1980 Eddy Merckx and it looks just the same, with the same angles too, plus I've got a 1983 De Rosa Super Prestige and they both ride beautifully, so you never know. I'll have to get rid of the rest of the collection to fund it though.

I want a big discount and an extra set of riding wheels too if I was going to get one.

Oh! and a proper saddle too.
and get rid of that shite bottle cage and replace them with Elite bottle cages,
the ones with rubber button holders and a coin shape! Oh hell either of the two:

Why not just forget De Rosa and carbon - and get a Master X-Light with just the right mix of bits from the outset but then I'm biased...
