Off out for a short ride, is it enough?

How short a ride can you get by on?

there was an external reason for it but last week i managed to the end of the street and back ......in full kit too!!.......2 minutes maximum......

im trying for lots of mini rides this year....hence another single speed bike, perfect for what i need from a bike.

i bought a cannondale badboy just for these type of trips. i have been doing little commuting jobs on mine, like popping to blockbusters to get dvds, picking up things from shops a few mile away rather than around the corner etc.

totted up 100miles i wouldnt usually of done in the past few weeks alone. my fitness should be going up this year

I just got back. Just celebrating the later nights.

Beautiful sunset, and I was delighted to see the return of the travellers to one of my favourite places, means a summer of getting the crack over a fire and some nice beer.

This is what it is all about.

If everyone had such a good attitude, there really would be a reduction in traffic and the motorist/cyclist divide would narrow further.

This is what biking is about to me, convenience.

Rather than driving to walk the dogs, I just took the one who wanted another outing today and it made it practical to go to the shops as well.

im popping to my parents tomorrow, rather than sitting in traffic, in my car, i will be doing the 15 mile round trip via a nice ride along the quayside and returning to a nice sunset hopefully........its great to have these moments of 'me' time after a day at work.

Got back from work and did a quick 4 mile trip around north London. Such a pleasant evening, although the head wind was a little more effort than was warranted. Made me feel good tho.
