Just found some 1.5mm brass rod in the garage... think I might give that a go. Should give a bit of flex (as the arms did before they broke) and might work quite nicely. Seem to have lost my 1.5mm drill bit though... bugger

Oakley do offer a discount of 40% on a new pair of glasses for broken glasses that can't be repaired or replaced due to them being out of production.
