Silly money as a starting point. I don't get why people don't understand as to start it low as to gather interest and bids...those generally see the auctions reach what they want anyway if priced right. A reserve is always a healthy back up....Nice bike though

The starting bid, has already been clicked. Silly money starting point would be the other Ritchey on ebay, you know, the one that was $20,000. This one is legit, with hard to find bars and fork. The decals can always come off. Frame, fork, and bars, alone would get $1000, and it's probably why that bid has already been placed. Plus, it's a ten day auction. This one will get plenty of attention, though it's for the taller folks out there.

The longer I hang about on here, the more I like the earlier bikes. This ^^^ is a case in point! Wow.

Sorry! -Gone now..

If you thought $1000, was silly; that starting point has just doubled.

Re: Now, this is an old sweet Ritchey, and look at that fork

So he had a fraudulent bidder. Why not just do a second chance offer the the next highest guy? Seems to me he didn't get what he wanted for it or he had someone shilling for him and the shill bidder won. It is odd to double the starting bid. That increases the listing fee unless he does not have to pay that on a relist. Something fishy is going on because he relisted in a day. It takes longer than that to do a dispute with Ebay.

Bummer the original stub was cut/machined off the fork
