Does anyone have a cheap 26" wheelset. Standard quick release, for 9 speed and disc brakes. Don't need anything fancy, just struggled for the last 2 years with wheels that are, shall we say, knackered, and want to rebuild my Giant properly now. Budget wise hoping to find something around £50 if possible so I know it won't get me much but anything's better than the wheels on there.

If it helps I don't need cassette, tyres or skewers as will be replacing them with all new when I can afford.

I have a pair of black Mavic X317 disc on black Deore M525 hubs.In good usable condition, hubs were stripped and greased last Autumn and barely used since. I can include s decent pair of City Jet tyres for free if they are any good to you.

I will post some photos shortly.

£40 delivered, I have a suitable box to post them in.

They sound perfect to be honest. Not going to be too fussy for my budget. It'll just be nice to have a matching pair of wheels on it and a freehub that isn't knackered. :facepalm:

Spoke tension is pretty even, one spoke was replaced with a silver one on rear drive side.

Wheels are true with no blatent flat spots/buckles & hubs are free from play and spin well.

All disc brake bolt holes have good threads. Tyres and tubes in good order.

Rims do have a few cosmetic scrapes & scuffs. Ask away if you need more detail.

They will do me. I just want to get my bike rebuilt in the hope of being able to race again next year after the news I've just had.
