And to me it begs the question - why are all these "victims" only now making their allegations after several decades of doing nothing?
Surely it's impossible to prove (or just as importantly, disprove) rape after forty years......
You would think that some sort of Statute of Limitations should apply - if someone believes that they've been a victim of some kind of criminal behaviour then why not complain in a slightly more timely manner rather than waiting 45 years?
A week ago I narrowly avoided a head on collision with a BMW which was overtaking a line of four cars around the outside of a blind bend. We all got away with it by a matter of inches. Now, if I'd got his reg. number (which I didn't) do I report it immediately or wait another twenty years?
Same for everything in my opinion.
