Alan Aluminium for sale....I purchased this new years ago from Bridgetown cycles in Cannock for the shimano 1055 groupset that was fitted as the frame was too small for me. It was then stored away. It has lovely paintwork and beautiful smooth welds. All the lettering and patterns are painted, there are no stick on transfers or letters.
There is 1 tiny scratch on non driveside chainstay which is covered by a race face sticker as shown in pic.
I have no idea what year it is or the model so if anyone can shed any light I would be grateful. I have had a quick look on the net but but can't find out much about it. It does have a frame no on the bb shell but the paint makes it unreadable and I dont want to damage the paint to read it.
Seat tube...57.7cm centre to top. With braze on for front mech
Horizontal Top tube....55.cm centre to centre
Head tube takes 1" steerer
head tube length 144mm
It weighs in at 2013grams with the bottom bracket and headset cups fitted so I guess you are looking at around 1730grams for the bare frame.
Sale includes bottom bracket which is very smooth and was ridden for only two weeks (originally had shimano 1055 double chainset fitted)
Would like £75 collected from Telford which I think is a very good price so if I can't get this I will store it away for the grand kids.
There is a possibility that I could meet up with a buyer or deliver depending on location as I am a lorry driver and do regular runs to most areas of mainland britain except for wales.
For the eagle eyed amongst you the writing in white on the underside of the down tube is just whiteboard marker and just wipes off.
