Not one for the purists

Hi Huntso,

IMHO looks ACE.

Plus I'm a fan of running slightly more travel than "suggested" but I guess thats a personal opinion.

Out of interest where do you ride?

I live down the road in BSE and have only lived there a year so still finding places to ride.

Suggestions appreciated

Hi Mark
Bit devoid of riding round this way apart from the obvious Thetford

Either have to get out in the car or investiagte the OS maps for bridleways although they are grim in the winter.

There is the old Roman Road from Newmarket to Cambridge and think the locals do a bit of illegal riding round the gravel workings at Cherry Hinton

I do occasionally head to the Peak District which is not to bad via the A14/M1
Have been thinking about checking out Rendlesham Forest over Woodbridge Way or going back down the M11 to my old Epping Forest stomping ground
Did have a look over Sandy way and managed to link up a few paths, but its still not overly exciting although not quite as flat
I think there is also a XC bit at Chicksands too which isn't that far over in Beds

Have you found anywhere of interest, not been here years myself so any information is always welcome

There are a few short rides out from BSE but nothing much - I've been out on the road more than anything

Been up to Thetford a few times - seems okay if less than challenging!

Will be heading out Sunday if you fancied stretching your legs?

Must get up to the peaks as never been that way

re: fork height

all sids are travel reducable I think. But the easiest way as suggested is to run with some Sag.

But I was wondering, is it possible to get a higher Axle to crown height on the earlier Judys?
