Not old-school (but an old idea anyway...)

Right, I am struggling to sleep tonight. I have been throwing this idea around for about 15 years and I would like to know if any of you on here have hands-on experience of hydraulics along with frame engineering, so that I can share / discuss in more detail.
OK, so far it sounds a bit - Huh?!? But please PM me if you do. I have a mad product / modification idea I would like to discuss with someone a little more techie than myself.
