Not a "What's it worth" but a what is it?

I've put a what's it worth in the correct place - please feel free to reply there if you have any comments. In the meanwhile - what is it? Yes - it's a Muddy Fox Roadrunner, but what the heck was one of them? I can't find any info except one owner of one in the States from a Google around. Any info appreciated, ta.

If I recall, the Roadrunner was the model below the Courier (Explorer at the top) in the mid\late eighties. Got a U-Brake knocking around if you need one.

Thanks, guys - maybe I should save an e-bay search and see what going rates are. Seems like a bottom of the range frame though, so worth little. "Sheffield" - thanks for the offer, but I wasn't planning on building it.

I had one of those briefly, exactly the same as that. And that's all I can tell you.

Ahh, memories, my first MTB was a Roadrunner purchased from Pembroke street cycles in Bedford in 1988.

It was at the lower end of the range, but hey I was a lowly test technician bitd.

I remeber I upgraded the u-brake from the stock dia-comp to the XT, wow what a difference that made... not that Bedfordshire mud was very forgiving to anything.
