isnt this one of the 2007 prototypes? chainstay/bb junction looks like the plate style assembly on those frames. Agree with the comment about the ugly welding though, if this is one of those prototypes then thats probably why Kona didnt give them the go ahead.

As I understood things these were indeed just meant as prototypes made for Kona in Russia.

The only other one I have ever seen was actually quite neat. Maybe this is an earlier proto type?

What ever it is it seems quit expensive for a Kona. Id expect to pay that for a TRULY MINT Hei Hei. Plus it's a 16inch.
