Nos frame, sound legit but looks way more modern to me ,but then i havent a clue.

If it is what it is meant to be i think the BIN is more than resonable too

lol, well spotted, well i did say, still maybe they meant 2002, or were Saracen shite then, and is the whole frame magnesium?

They were all magnesium and I guess would have been around 2002. I remember them being very light but very fragile around the seat tube / top tube join. Lots cracked there IIRC.

EDIT: Not sure about the story of destruction and limited numbers though! They were just the top of their range I believe (not that hard for Saracen around that time. :!: )

I had one for a while - stiff light well damped(?) - but the hyper light weight and stories of weld fails - scared me - so sold it on.

Was a great ride though :cry:

I'd seen this - I love it. I WANT it. For a s/s 26" wheel tarmac mile chaser. Should survive a <9 st gentle rider!

Magnesium alloy usually OK as long as well protected from the wet! The Merida/Carrera ones rode very nicely - road and mtb.
