Had these on my watchlist for a while.. searching around the net, though, they appear to be quite difficult to set up properly and there are some reports of them being not very good. . hence my lack of purchase..
there is a guy does em for 10 quid somewhere.
i used one a while ago and wasnt happy with it cos the bearings were shite, but i got another one recently (£10 one) and it had skf bearings with it that have been pretty good. its no royce, but as good as any un50/70.
setup is actually pretty easy, axel has a spring clip in the centre, then a load of spacers to adjust for shell width and number of bearings. im using 4 but you can have 2/3/4. so long as youve got an old school lock ring spanner the cups just screw in like a cartrige bb.
and i think they look pretty cool too, but hey there has to be some reason they are so dirt cheap, so poss im wrong and they are crap
