True, although fortunately one can rehabilitate the bike to a classic again by only 3 easy steps

But mentally it's undef*ckable, you'd always know what somebody had done. Bit like finding out that a really beautiful girl you'd started seeing had slept with a smelly homeless, she can scrub the smell off but you'd always know...

In my mind that bike should be stripped of the right to be called NOS after those grips had been place on it. :cry:

Yep, would require some pretty strong purifying rituals to get rid of the bad karma those grips have caused. But even after that you'd always know they had been there...

Exactly my thoughts....easy for the new owner to change though.
