Ah a curve ball to what you said Jim... This 1000ds is exactly what I have.. Same decals and disc tabs... So do you think it has a DH rear end? Guess it could be as the shock is odd or do I have a mild rarity ?? Wish I had some spare cash for another!!! Great spot mate.

I'm beginning to think that maybe they did do a limited run of disc rear ends for DS models! :?
Although this one may be NOS, it's certainly been tweaked. Fox shock isn't standard and neither is the stem cap on the front end of the trunion. (A clever idea though)
