I’m pretty sure the only difference between the BMX and MTB version was the BB. The axle diameter is the same, you just need to get either the hard to find crappy Bullseye BB or a new model external bearing BB with a shim.

According to Bikepro.com they came in 167mm and 172mm, not the 170mm as claimed (double check with the seller).
