I'm currently building a touring bike for a new commute to work. For me it's been a breath of fresh air, building something that I have no knowledge base of ... a new venture. I felt the same when I got a Brompton and happened to bling that up
A Spa touring frame, tubus cargo rack, Ortlieb classics, Paul touring brakes, Paul thumbie/8 speed barcon shifters, Brooks B17 and xt drivetrain.
Anyhow all this part finding has lead me stumple across the NC500. I've seen it before mentioned on LandRover Defender forums. Now I have an itch to do it on the bike.
Looking for tips, do's and dont's from others.
My 52 'midlife' bucket list keeps throwing curve balls. Ace bike got the camping gear. Why not
Cheers Al
