I first bought this one a couple of years ago, rebuilt it with campag 10 and ergos, took it apart, sold a few parts, and last week finished building it again
I liked it with campag 10 and ergos, but wasn't sure on the white bars/saddle/cables, etc. Original build thread here: viewtopic.php?f=23&t=317931
The new build has swapped white for black, campag 10 for shimano 9, ergos for DT... I like it more now - the frame is highlighted more with the black parts, and the ride is very smooth with the continental 25mm clinchers. Comparisons are somewhat useless, but compared to my pinarello paris carbon, the pinarello handles better, but the nortel.le feels nicer.
I still might make a few changes to it - the turbomatic has never been a favourite of mine but I've decided to give it another try. I think I'll end up putting a rolls on it though. The gear levers are dura ace 9 speed, but they feel very "faint" compared to the 7402 8 speed ones and I might swap them for something else.
I still have a few finishing touches to do too - logos need removing from seatpost and brake levers, the rims are different model years so they need the stickers taking off too.
