yep! 
it's usually a personal reason though as in that they have wronged me in the past in some way!
that goes with people and companies, shops, brands, you name it.
i admit i do hold grudges (not that i stew on them, i don't find it a problem not to buy from somewhere etc)
i have a list but it's very long!
and most of those people/companies would have no idea (or care)

I think one issue that may be alluded to re' Israel is their seemingly utter defiance against the general global agreement that their policy of settlement in certain areas that they know will cause issues with the Palestinians... poking the hornets nest to stir up trouble and then "oh, look how terrible my situation is, I getting attacked by hornets"... and demand sympathy
