Weighed forks and they are just under 1kg incl. the crown race.

Just in case it helps, I shipped a bike box, albeit cut down to reduce the length a bit, with 4 frames and tons of other stuff to the point that it was brimming and dead heavy, and I am 200% sure the price for that was way less than £200, and that was to the states. Have you tried using parcels2go for a price?
