Nice Schwinn Beachcruiser

with a nexus rearhub
hummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
an oldtimer from a few years ago maybe

My thoughts exactly, but those can be replaced..
What about the frame? I have too little knowledge about the old Schwinns...

the issue is probably an analysis
what do you want to do ith the bike
and of
sturdiness - older frames such as the excelsior but at the expense of
weight !
I recommend the "klunkerz" dvd that shows that earlier bikes were used only downhill ( with pushing them up !)
then addition of mechs to be able to pedal up
then new frame as why climb with a 25kg bike when you can have one of 12 kg

need to buy a book to learn about frame differences ( such as the possibly lighter corvette 60'S version )

such as

Just for the record: I'm not bidding on it. The shipping costs would kill me!

You could get a train to Germany and then ride it home.
8) Slowly.
