Nice Retro wheelset SOLD To Domestique

Nice very clean set of 36 spoked Exage 400 Hubbed Mavic 238 rimmed wheels, DT butted spokes, complete with 11-28 cassette. 135 axle width, so can take 8/9 speed width freewheel( available extra if you wanted) Skewers and rim tape included- These have been locally handbuilt and the bearings just serviced as the grease had dried out. These have only done 20 miles and are near new. £40 plus post. Also have a matching set of Smoke and Dart 2 Kevlar 2.1 tyres with these wheels £20 extra. Would look at swaps.

Would this not require a new freehub, the axle respacing and the rim redishing? :?

Only needs re dishing if its a 130mm axle, its a 7 speed freehub as U'll notice the axle projects well out of the freehub, an 8/9 freehub would not have as much axle projecting. the rim is centred on a 135 centre .Most 5/6/7 speeds were 130, thats when you need to re dish. It has a standard 135 axle. I'm offering a new 8/9 freehub for bit more cash if required if you read the addy.
