HI lads and lasses,
I have for sale a nice little Cyril Guimard road bike. Frame size is 52.5cm c-to-c seat tube, 54cm c-to-t and 54cm c-to-c top tube.
It has a Solida 52/42 crankset and a 22/14 rear cassette, Normandy high flange hubs with Mavic tubular hubs (very little wear) and virtually new Vittoria tyres.
Brakes are Weinman, could probably do with new hoods.
The frame is Reynolds 531 and has a few paint chips and minor rust spots but no cracks or crash damage.
Bottom bracket could do with strip and re-grease and crank is running slightly out of true, the chap at my LBS says that it is probably a bit of dirt under the square taper drive side. I would sort it myself but don`t have a French threaded vintage crank puller. Cranks are re-threaded for non French pedals to give more choice. I have ridden it for 25 miles last year and it rode fine very light and responsive but sadly too small for me. Ummed and ahhed about selling it as I`m quite attached but it has to go.
It has new fabric bar tape also. Modern saddle sorry!
I`m after £150 ono. Would post, have to check costs, but would prefer collection or could arrange mutually agreeable meeting place. Cheers.
