Sorry this has come a bit late for you, but this is a 1988 Peugeot Aravis. Nice bikes - i've got one! Just started a thread about it as it happens. Looks like a right mismatch of equipment on it, and whoever the supposedly pro rider who used to own it was must have been pretty short! Good luck with your search for a classic

I've raced against Colin a few times back in the 80's. Don't remember him having a basic pug. Ok it may be a nice frame, but when you have your own shop like Colin did, then why settle for a stock bike. I would say the stickers came from a prev owner who knew no better at the time.
