New tyres

Well, I couldn't resist these - they'll look the part and I've had Vittoria (road) tyres before and liked them. What's not to like at £20 the pair plus posted?!

Perhaps lots of you have seen them...I hadn't, but had to have these Vittorias:

Yep... having not made any EU purchases online post Brexit I'm interested to see what I'm going to be charged here... I'm prepared to be philosophical about it - the tyres look nice and are cheap enough that it's not too much of a gamble.

I had it in mind that this was below the threshold but after a quick google I'm more confused than I was before I started.

I'd been interested just how much post Brexit duty you get charged as I've seen a few things on sale and I'm just too scared to buy as I couldn't quite work out how much I'd be paying either!!! :facepalm:

Agreed - it's putting me right off.

I'm loving all the extra sovereignty though - it makes each day so much easier. The £350M extra that the NHS is getting each week is also clearly visible. I even saw the first unicorn of spring.

you shouldnt need to pay anything as long as the value is below 135 and they havent marked it as a gift - VAT SHOULD now be included in the price

ive noticed some ebay items have a note that says VAT will be added

43.08 Euros (£36.91) came out of my PayPal for the pair inc. Vat/ taxes....I thought that was most acceptable for some gumwall 26" Vittoria tyres. A few pairs left by the looks of it!
They did have one pair of Michelin 'Tiaga' (Taiga) left out of something like 150 pairs as of last night but I think that last pair has gone...like most of these things get 'em while you can I suppose...

Indeed you lot/ someone's snapping them up - 4 pairs sold in last 24 hours - 1 pair left!
