New rim :(

Just got my bike back from the shop.
I have split my rim and I will now have to use a NEW (gasp) one.
My bike will no longer be retro.

The old rim was a mavic x517 sunburst. I am having both of the rims replaced and the wheels rebuilt.

Any recomendations for rims?

I have silver 217 for sale (new)

But if I were you I would go hunting sunset again. Its hard to find but there is nothing better then a matching set of wheels.

I had a moment of great happiness followed by a low.

I checked my other bike and it too has x517 sunburst rims....but only in 32 hole!

My broken one is actually a SUP rim in 36 hole not a sunburst!

I was so overcome by grief I could not tell the difference
