This one puts it in context (anything above it that year had 'Team' in the name):

Looking for £250 plus postage. I need to get wheels trued up which will cost £30. I'll knock £40 off if the buyer wants to do it themselves.
I've no idea what my 1987 Raleigh Avanti with full Reynolds 531 ATB frame and forks and early deore groupset is worth (see link below - far as I can see it's all original apart from the pedals) but if anyone wanted to give me £150 for it I'd probably keep the Marin. Its from the high end Raleigh Lightweight Unit and can be seen here:

The first Marin pics are from a year ago when I bought it, virtually unused and mint. It's had a good year of use since then, mostly on-road on slicks. Current pics below as they needed resizing. It's still in pieces for posting if nec. It's not quite as pristine but it still looks amazing for the year.
For those that don't know, Marin aren't rated so much these days but in the early 90s they rocked. Check the Marin coolwall (http://www.retrobike.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=83993), they got slated but just scraped 'cool' basically on the strength of their early 90s steel and ti frames with particular love for the zolatone pine mountains, only made in 91 and 92. Obviously the team ti got love but they go for way more money.
