1996 Diamond Back WCF 6.0.

Came with some pre knackered Manitous - off they came. Generic rigid fork -on. Then just what I had lying around.

Not all that, but rides nice.

Bargainous shifters off e-bay, dead ringers for Sachs wavy, badged as SRAM Neos.

Wheels came with the bike -strong but heeeeaaavy.........

I like it - but I can already hear the howls of derision for fitting V's to a bike with a Canti hangar...

Oh dear, now I'll also have offended the great and the good( ) who'll say I'm praising mediocrity and encouraging the 'dumbing down' of the forum...

Would it help if I cut the canti hanger off

Call me old fashioned, but I like brakes which actually STOP me...
