new frame / old parts

was just looking at a few framesets on ebay today - particularly a voodoo wanga - and was wondering if it would be possible to build up a new frame with older parts, such as a deore xt 7 speed grouppo etc.

Why not, most things will fit without any probs and the wanga is a nice frame.

so no problem with hubs and bb? those were my main worries...

No problem at all with BB's and hubs, the frame might only have disc hose routing though which may mean you have to run complete brake cable outer if you use V brakes
If you did want to run discs instead of V's I have some older Mavic 117's with dia tech disc hubs

My main mountain bike is a mixture of new and old. Works well.
