NEEDED brake lever hoods for shimano 105

Almost finished my vintage bike project.

Only part lacking is a pair of Brake lever hoods for the old old shimano 105.

Ideally black to fit the new paint work.

Any help in tracking a pair down would be brilliant as I've tried local workshops and they have nothing old enough.

How old? 105 1050? 1055?

Not sure, all they say is shimano 105 , the top of the brake for the good is very pointy compared to modern ones. The kit came on a Raleigh 700dyna fit Gaerne team bike

Yeah there the ones.

Don't think I can warrant that sort of price on the EBay ones though sadly

I gained the vintage road bike with original 105 kit from new that had never been used, all jockeys and gears etc... Was completely pristine , just the steal frame showed age , I have just finished full new paint job , all parts clean and ready for re-fit , be it the hoods that are missing as originals had started to rot.

Why would you buy the eBay ones when the SJS are an exact match?
