Yes on a Rockhopper, he's involved in a lot of Specialized product development and was asked to use the Rockhopper. If you have a look about that site there are a few more Specialized factory vids with Ned Overend. Very cool stuff if you have a modern interest.
Ned's a proper legend. I was lucky enough to watch him demolish the course at the Riva del Garda bike festival a few years ago.
He was walking around and chatting in the pits after the race as most of the field were still dragging themselves around the course. The 'lung' still rocks after all these years,shame about his bikes though!!
well he says its a rockhopper and it is stickered as such. wonder how far removed it is from an off the peg one?
also like his little rescue when talking about the stumpjumper (assume fsr) rider "he was crushing it on the downhills. pause. and on the up hills too"
