(still, 29er aside, it did look nice 8) )

Always thought Overend was a great name for a mtb'r with the great potential in this sport of going overend via the bars

Yes on a Rockhopper, he's involved in a lot of Specialized product development and was asked to use the Rockhopper. If you have a look about that site there are a few more Specialized factory vids with Ned Overend. Very cool stuff if you have a modern interest.

Ned's a proper legend. I was lucky enough to watch him demolish the course at the Riva del Garda bike festival a few years ago.

He was walking around and chatting in the pits after the race as most of the field were still dragging themselves around the course. The 'lung' still rocks after all these years, shame about his bikes though!!

al. :D

well he says its a rockhopper and it is stickered as such. wonder how far removed it is from an off the peg one?

also like his little rescue when talking about the stumpjumper (assume fsr) rider "he was crushing it on the downhills. pause. and on the up hills too"

made me smile

At last he has got rid of the 70's porn star tash. Excellent that he is still going strong. Often wondered what he would sound like.

He doesn't look like me anymore :(

Not the same without the 'tache

Still a class rider though :D
