Mystery frame, Reynolds 753, photos added

Sorry no photos, but here is the description.
Tubing 753r, clear evidence of Silver soldering around the Bocama lugs, (long with heart cut out) and 28mm seat post diameter that take a 26.8 seat post. The bottom bracket is RGF with Campag horizontal drop outs.

The BB has a National Insurance number stamped on it, (never seen that before) and the seat stays have Reynolds pantographed on them, (very rare?)

It has a single down tube braze on for a single shifter and a very small cable guide soldered under the BB. Not fag paper clearances and has recessed brake fitting.

No other serial numbers found. Any ideas????

28mm seat tube and RGF shell are Metric, so it is the earlier version of 753; that is 1983 or before, so if it has a 753R decal (Imperial 753 from post 1983 with a 28.6 seat tube) that probably means a later renovation.

I was dreaming of a time trial frame with the single boss ... But the horizontal dropouts and clearances burst my bubble.

You can stamp anything on the BB but the national insurance number is a new one on me........

Sorry, I made the mistake of adding the r to the tube description, there are no decals on this frame, it is in a sad rat look state, lots of fine surface rust but sound.

Anybody else seen a frame with Reynolds pantographed on the seat stays.

Came across a couple BITD. Interested to see pics of the frame If it has no decals have you weighed it to work out what it's made of.

Seat stays, silver solder can clearly be seen around the lug. note the Reynolds panto.
