Is your glowplug seized into the engine, I know these vans suffer with that a lot and it can be a very expensive fix

My mechanic friend told me its not a massive job so i would suggest its not seized. The bigger problem is seized injectors on the cdi models. I was quoted 3 grand to fix my last one, hence this one being non cdi! At the end of the day its a 10 year old van. There will be complications with and van of that age. You could buy something similar without a glow plug fault and 2 weeks later it has a problem and it needs major work. Sadly that is the risk when buying at the lower price end of the market! At least the problem is out in the open and its known that the van starts all year round despite it. Cheers
