  Erm....couple of months maybe more

Have to say...it was nearly perfect for me.

I guess I have been going through a rather accelerated learning curve since
embracing the singlespeed thing.

First it was converting a 'normal' bike.
Then SS cranks
Then I didn't like using a tensioner anymore
So I bought a SS frame...and SS wheels
BUT its a Giant...very very very good, bit steel is real for SS'ing.
So now I have a nice steel frame...and I think fully rigid for purity.
And then....then...I think I will be happy.

If I knew what I wanted from the start...it would have been easier...and cheaper :(

Cheers, Carl

Whats the steel frame? I know what you mean though already thinking about changing things on mine even though I said that was it finished.

Ah...I'm now the proud owner of Sunchasers (thanks mate) Guyzer frame...made by Guy Rogers...still searching for more information on him.
Beautifully constructed using Columbus Max OR (ovalised) tubing.
A few chips to the paint (which Martin accurately described..plus a few under a long sticker...which neither of us a knew about :x ) but its a beaut.
In the fullness of time I expect to have it resprayed...and ideally I fancy a pair of Groovy forks.
Everything from the Giant will be going on it....and a new CK Dreadset from Bikeshopowner ( cheers mate).
Now, the only thing I'm not sure about is the Maguras...think they look 'heavy' on the frame.
What would you rather have...the Giant or the Guyzer?
Cheers
Carl

how much for the mags??

rob

Rob, I'm going to build it up first before making a decision on the Maguras...but if I do decide to sell I'll give you first shout...and then advertise them properly in the For Sale section....(in fear of the Mods  )

Cheers, Carl

I like both frames but the Guyzer have the edge, if the bike is mostly used on tarmac then I would have Argos to respray it, do something unique and different with two colours on it............surprise us when finished.

BTW, have v-brakes on it, lighter and simple look, anyway good luck with it

I was umming and arring over buying that guyzer the other week, When i had finally made my mind up to buy it it had gone

Looks a nice frame Carl, Congrats 8)
