Cheers mate. It was a real old dog when I bought it for £60. All the parts and wheels got donated to the Bristol Bike Project and people on this site. Old decals off, new on and then sealed in acrylic laquer. Proper " trigger's broom " gig!

yes mate. I made the spreader out of threaded bar. I bought a bolt-on mech hanger and it indexed first time in all 10 gears. It was the same result when I upgraded Debs' ( the missus ) '77 Galaxy. That one was a 3X8 upgrade.
